TecHO hosted a Project WILD facilitators’ workshop, where 14 local educators were certified as facilitators in September. Facilitated by Texas’s Project Wild Coordinator Kiki Corry and EPWater Conservation Technician April Thoreson, the Project WILD program provided bilingual curriculum guides and professional development to help teachers engage students in lessons around taking care of wildlife and the environment. Click here to learn more about the education programs we offer.

Each educator was given free curriculum guides, valued at $117, for Project WILD, Aquatic WILD, Growing Up WILD and a Proyecto WILD.  Educators pledge to conduct one workshop per year. Educators also received 12 hours of TEA-approved CPE hours. For more information on our upcoming workshops visit our event calendar here.
